This morning I created a new github repository for Lockbox: a Dropbox helper application which adds strong end-to-end encryption to the already-fantastic Dropbox cloud storage service.
This is my first Free software project since Freeamp (now Zinf) way back in 1998. I’ve been a user and minor patcher of Free software since then, but I’m super excited to be finally contributing a complete piece of software again.
Right now it isn’t anything more than a proof-of-concept, but the architecture is pretty simple and I have a personal need for it so I’d expect that to change quickly over the coming weeks.
